WHAT COULD BE THE EFFECT OF RH BILL IN CASE IT WILL BE APPROVED?
I remember this RH BILL was a topic which was discussed to us two years ago and here it rises again. That time, I don’t fully understand what does this RH BILL means. According to an online copy, RH BILL is AN ACT PROVIDING FOR A NATIONAL POLICY ON REPRODUCTIVE HEALTH, RESPONSIBLE PARENTHOOD AND POPULATION DEVELOPMENT, AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES. Today, at our morality class it was again, opened.
What will happen if RH BILL will be signed by our President? Here are the possible effects from this act, if legalized.
DIVORCE - According to Wikipedia, Divorce (or the dissolution of marriage) is the final termination of a marital union, cancelling the legal duties and responsibilities of marriage and dissolving the bonds of matrimony between the parties. If this will be legalized, many families will be broken. Possibly, many children will be abandoned, left or worse, aborted.
EUTHANASIA - Also known as Mercy Killing. The old population of our country will be killed when they lose utility to the society. They wont be killed once but they’ll be killed slowly like placing chemicals on their food until they become weak and eventually die. Who are you to say that a man’s life stops there when he loses utility to the society? Are you God to say that?
ABORTION - So if this mercy killing will be legalized, for sure abortion will be also one of it’s effect. If you don’t like the child, you are free to chose if you’ll keep the child or simply abort it.
TWO-CHILD POLICY - Simply, this bill is trying to break down our populace. The Philippines has a strong population and I strongly believe to the quote “Ang kabataan ay ang pag-asa ng bayan”. Haven’t you noticed what do other countries import from us? Not rice, crops, nor gems but MANPOWER. Our country is very rich with human resources and if time comes that there will be a larger population of seniors than children, possibly, the economy can go down and fluctuate.
HOMOSEXUALITY - According to the bible God hasn’t allowed to same sexes to join together though in our country, homosexuality is starting to be accepted but still, they should be what they are at first and be contented with what they have.
SAME-SEX MARRIAGE - If a priest refuses to marry a homosexual couples the couple will have a power to demand the priest to court and file a case. Again, according to the bible only a man and a woman are legible to marriage.
Yes, we know that every individual has their own rights and they can freely do what they’ll want to do but in this case, as a Catholic country, it’s just fair for the church to contradict the plans of our government because here, we’re talking about the morale of an individual.
I was also reminded on what has the late Pope John Paul II had said: “There will come a time that there will be an anti-christ president”. I’m scared on what could possibly happen to my generation and to my children’s generation if this bill is legalized. I don’t like to lose my morals and the moral of the people around me.
If we care, we should think.

Wait, what?
Are you serious?
Are you a troll?

Is this real life.

What.

Twisting facts and making up ideas just to coincide with your point of view is pure crap. Seriously, I don’t see the point of relinking us to the original bill if you’d just contort points to suit your opinion.
And yeah, don’t get me started on your flawed, bulleted logic. *insert eyes rolling emoticon here*
I’ll pray for your mind’s enlightenment on this one. YAY!

Sorry but i don’t agree with this RH bill blah though i am not that educated about this. Every life is precious, every life has a purpose here on earth. So why kill a precious life through abortion, right? Mariage is a sacred commitment, so why marry someone just to divorce? And same-sex marriage? Kaya nga gumawa si Lord ng Eba galing sa ribs ni Adan para magkaron na girl na kasama sa buhay si Adan, diba? Correct me if i`m wrong okayy. TSS. :|

I don’t want to reblog this on my main Tumblr again because I’ve already reblogged it with a lengthy explanation of why all of those points the original poster made are, well, wrong, but here: have you read the RH Bill? How can you agree OR disagree with something if you are, as you say, uneducated about it? That’s irresponsible.
If you did, you’d know that the RH Bill isn’t seeking to decriminalize abortion at all. In fact, it reiterates that abortion is a criminal and punishable act. Simply: abortion is still illegal.
Divorce is not even a factor in the text of the RH Bill, so I don’t know where the original poster pulled that card out. Likely straight out of his ass. Same-sex marriage is also not a factor in the Bill. Please read it and try to understand it before you pass judgment on it. Opinions that aren’t informed only serve to spread further misinformation.
Thank you.

October and Beyond

ricktimus:

vivatregina:

I like making lists because I’m a bit of a scatterbrain and I can never keep track of my life. Anyway, the month of October will see me quite free again, so this time around, I’m not going to mess about with all my time by bumming around the house and parking my ass in front of the computer all…

You know, it’s totally interesting how different people leading different lives end up thinking along the same lines. Because sometimes I look at your posts and think, “Man, we’re the same age, but look at the things she has going on. Look! I mean, what do I do? I go to uni, and… Christ, not much else really, if you think about it.” And what follows is a brief and hilariously self-pitying analysis wherein I say “oh god what am I doing with myself oh god” a whole lot.

(Avoid this self-pitying bit, kids. God knows I try to, but that’s just how my neurosis-addled brain works sometimes.)

And yet here you are! Writing about the same exact feelings, no less. I even do the list thing. I do the list thing constantly.

It’s reassuring, though, to know that other people feel this way. It means that we’re hungry, and not easily satisfied with things, and thus are always looking forward. Which is a rather nice quality to have, I like to think.

Oh man, the self-pitying thing. I do that several times a day. Haha! And it’s probably not just because we’re both a little neurotic.

I think it’s precisely because our lives are so different that we feel like this, especially since technology has enabled us to see what other people’s lives are like. I reckon it must have been easier before the Internet to just live your life as it is without always wondering if there’s something more, because you’re not really exposed to everyone else’s possibilities. It’s not like that anymore. Kind of a double-edged sword thing going on there, depending on how positive your attitude is.

That’s a great way to see it, though, and the funny thing is, my parents are always trying to convince me that it’s not a bad thing to be so driven to want more. They just worry that I push myself hard and beat myself up about it, which is a valid concern. They say to take it easy, but I really don’t want to. We only get so much time; let’s make the most of it, yeah? :)

God, I wish I were still at uni! Haha!

Lego died today. He caught a cold and expired as we were watching the hostage situation on TV. Manny helped me dig him a grave in the garden. It’s a good thing it rained so hard because the ground was soft and we didn’t have much to dig with other than our hands and the occasional baking instrument.
My bunny. I know that on the scale of appropriate grief, Lego’s a speck compared to what happened today, but I can’t stop crying

I’m so sorry for your loss. :( Lego was a very special bunny.

Nagulat nalang ako, napa-Sh*t nalan ako nung nakita ko yung bangs ko.

Well hindi madali magbahaba ng buhok, I’ll just need to worket!

I’ve cut my bangs too short in the past, too. Akala ko disaster, pero keri naman. Work it! ;)

This reminds me of something out of a coloring book, or on the restaurant coasters with the kid activities.
“Fernando Torres is trying to find where his talent went on the pitch. Can you help him?”

OMG YOU GUISE, it’s totally not Nando’s fault he’s still recovering from his injury. My poor bb. :’( HAHAHAHAHA! No, but seriously, I love this guy. <3
